Cognition and Learning...
Cognition and Learning is an overarching term to describe young people who may learn at a slower pace than their peers, even with appropriate differentiation.
At NOA students may be supported by this area if they have a moderate learning difficulty (MLD) or a specific learning difficulty (SPLD) such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia.
This space has been created to provide you with ideas, strategies and resources to support students with cognition and learning difficulties, but please also look at the steps below that indicate how we support these students throughout the whole school at NOA.
